    Break Through SilenceMICHAEL BROUSSARD is a guest speaker for this event.

    He will be a panelist for "Abuse & Assault; Individual and Societal Effects, Prevention and Support Efforts We Can All Do", he will present an excerpt from "Ask A Sex Abuse Survivor" during the Arts Showcase portion of the event, and he will be leading the workshop "Survivors and Supporters Space - How to Assist One Another"

    Break Through Silence Presents a FREE EVENT: "The Healing Arts Caravan". Empowerment through the arts and community engagement. Break Through Silence endeavors to increase awareness of child abuse and sexual assault.

    DIRECTIONS

    From the East
    Route 2 west to Fitchburg. Take exit 31B (Fitchburg Route12) Bear right off the exit to follow Route 12. Follow Route 12 for 3.2 miles to the stoplight just past The Market Basket. Turn right at 2A/Water Street, go over the overpass and make the next left onto Main Street. The library is .3 miles on the left.

    (The Municipal parking lot is reached by turning left immediately after Espresso Pizza on Main St.- before you reach the Library. Take this short street, Newton Place, to the end and turn left, opposite Putnam Place. Then turn left again, and enter the Parking Lot.)

    From the Southeast
    From Worcester, take highway 190 north to the merge with Route 2. Follow Route 2 West to Fitchburg. Follow the directions above for travel from the east.

    From the Northeast
    From Townsend, take Route 13 to the intersection of Route 2A. Turn right and continue on through three lights to Main Street. At the fourth light, Main Street becomes one way. Continue straight through the light, the library is .3 miles on the left.

    From the Northwest
    From Ashby, take Route 119 south which will merge into Route 31. Continue on Route 31 until you come to a set of lights. Veer to the left around the Common (the boulder will be on your right). Go straight through the set of lights, then, staying in the left lane continue for two short blocks. Turn left onto Newton Place (opposite Putnam Place) and left onto Main Street, the library is on your left at the Corner of Main Street and Newton Place.

    (To reach the Municipal parking lot, pass Newton Place and enter the Parking Lot on the left.)

    From the Southwest
    From Westminster follow Route 2A north to the Fitchburg Common. Go straight through the set of lights, then staying in the left lane, continue for two short blocks, turn left onto Newton Place (opposite Putnam Place) and left onto Main Street, the library is on your left at the Corner of Main Street and Newton Place.

    (To reach the Municipal parking lot, pass Newton Place and enter the Parking Lot on the left.)

    From the West
    From Route 2, take the Route 31 exit. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Route 31 (Princeton Road) and follow it to Westminster Street, River Street and Kimball Street following Route 12, a total of 3.8 miles to Rollstone Street. Rollstone Street is approximately 1/2 mile past the Cleghorn rotary. Turn left onto Rollstone Street. At Main Street (approx 1,000 feet) turn right. Main Street will become Boulder Drive, a one-way street, and you'll curve around until you are opposite Putnam Place, and turn left onto Newton Place. Turn Left again onto Main Street, and the Library is there, or you could park at the Municipal Parking Lot.

    PARKING

    Free parking is available in the lot on the corner of Boulder Drive and Newton Place, and in the Municipal Parking Lot on Boulder Drive. Metered parking is available on Main Street and meters are free after 4pm.
